Design and construction of the New rail terminal, Juras Parks and railway bypass in the port of Ventspils

Construction of the new railway terminal and Juras Parks was constructed to increase capacity of Ventspils rail junction, as well as to remove railway traffic with hazardous cargoes away from the station Ventspils 1 and city surroundings.

Works comprised construction of 15 km railway tracks, including 9 arriving – departing tracks in Juras Parks, execution of 32 turnouts, construction of industrial buildings, railway overpass, installation of signaling and interlocking system, telecommunication system, including computerization of the Ventspils junction, as well as construction of engineering networks and adjacent streets and roads.
