Construction of shopping centre IKEA in district Dreilini

On the outskirts of Riga, near to the Str. Juglas and traffic circle Biķernieku, JSC “BMGS” carries out pile driving works and earthworks. In total, there will be driven 803 prismatic piles, with cross-section size 35x35 cm and total length of 18 m.

In the framework of the project, 10 static pile tests will be performed as well.

For pile driving works an equipment from JSC “BMGS” technical fleet is used (pile driving rigs – Junttan PM 25 and Junttan PM 20 LC).   

It is going to be the very first in Latvia trade giant IKEA chain store. With a total area of more than 22 thousand square meters and parking, designed for 1000 vehicles, brand new shopping centre is about to make a huge impact on the surrounding areas.
