Construction of Ventspils music high school with a concert hall functions

     Ventspils music high school with a concert hall functions, that will be located on the south side of square Lielais, is a unique project because of its innovative technical solutions. JSC “BMGS” is making a huge contribution to the building process by performing FUNDEX pile works with a total number of 405 piles. Diameter of piles is 520 mm and length – almost 40 m. Within the pile reinforcement cages geothermal pipes are incorporated, which afterwards will be connected to thermal pumps. During a solemn opening of construction works, in which participated the Mayor of the city of Ventspils – Aivars Lembergs - the very first pile was driven.

     The project was made in cooperation of European Regional Development Fund as a part of project “The national music school of Ventspils infrastructure development”. And not to mention, the project has received a praise of international jury by receiving the 1st place in "The most sustainable building and project 2016".
