JSC BMGS has been offering services in the area of hydraulic engineering construction and civil engineering to customers for more than 55years.

The Company’s core lines of business are construction of harbour facilities, pile foundations of any type, bridges, and railway structures. In addition, JSC BMGS offers the services in the area of designing and geotechnical surveys.

Background

JSC BMGS is a legal successor of the  BaltMorGidroStroy Trust established in 1952. Since the very beginning of its activity, BMGS was interested in the total Baltic region. At present, in addition on the markets of the Baltic region, which are the Company’s main markets, the Company develops a new market - the Black Sea coast. Branch offices of JSC BMGS, which facilitate implementation of strategic intentions of the Company, exist in all Baltic countries and regions.

At present, being the construction contractor of the united Europe, JSC BMGS aims to fulfil a multidimensional reorganization, which would allow extending limits of its service offer.

Latvia is traditionally considered as the state, which, thanks to its geopolitical position, can serve as a bridge between the West and the East. JSC BMGS has been making use of these opportunities for a long time by creating partner unions, in which the Latvian company is the connecting and organizing link between economic entities of Russia and Western countries.

JSC BMGS, being the Latvian company, has deep understanding of traditions and mentality of the Eastern neighbour, on the one hand, and has the long-term experience of relationships and joint cooperation with the Western companies, on the other hand, which makes BMGS an indispensable intermediary in implementation of financial and construction projects with particpation of the European and Russian partners. We shall continue to pay great attention to this line of business and to develop our business contacts in both the Western and the Eastern direction.

For implementation of the ambitious tasks set before JSC BMGS for the nearest years, there is the strategic platform, determining present and future activities, which is expressed in the following priorities:

This strategy provides for continuos upgrading of methods  and means to be applied for preparation and execution of the construction works, rise of the  personnel knowledge level and improvement of the personnel skills, implementation of achievements of the innovative technology and management.
